As you're starting to think about packing for your upcoming trip, consider adding some of the following items if you don't have them already. These are a few of our favorite things to pack, and I hope they help you as you get out your suitcase and start getting excited!
General Travel Items:
I have many of these myself! Many older hotels and cruise ships don't have nearly enough outlets, so something that gives you more of them AND includes USB ones is a great idea to bring with you.
I admit, I love my sleep, so I love to bring a sleep mask and ear plugs or a sound machine when I travel.
If your phone doesn't easily hold a charge all day and you use it to take photos like I do, an extra power bank is super helpful. You plug it in to charge it, then bring it with you and plug it into your phone on-the-go once your phone battery is low, and it will charge your phone.
A lightweight daypack is a must have to take your essentials with you. With versatile side packets and a large main compartment, this worked great in Alaska, Europe and even the beach.
I love my Apple Air Tags; I keep one in each piece of luggage when traveling giving me the peace of mind to know where my bags are and when at my destination, I transfer one to my backpack. When home, I add one to my set of keys and even have one on my dog's collar.
Packing Cubes are a great help in multiple ways during the packing and traveling process. They help contain your clothes into a more compact space. Since all your clothes are zipped up into the cube, you can easily move them around while packing and have them fit neatly into your suitcase.
